This is at the botom of my to do list...

Yet, I am doing it first. Updating my blog that is. A lot has happened since I last wrote in April and though I had intentions of keeping it updated better than this, I knew that wouldn't happen since a busy summer lay ahead! I could ramble on in para graphical form explaining every detail of the last several months, all 9 of them. However maybe a list will lighten your reading load:

In chronological order:

Raised support to make move to preaching school in TN
Sadly announced our final goodbyes to friends
Yard sale
Packing, packing, packing
Tons of last time dinners, gifts and fun with church family
Load up u-haul with the help of almost 30 people!
Drive several hours, stop and eat with Melissa and Phillip on way
Unload at new house in Knoxville with help of fellow students
Register children for school (Ian's teacher is a preacher's wife- nice!)
Take 4 months to FINALLY get house ultra organized and decorated right
(meanwhile have husband rehang same pic several times, sorry babe)
Me, Brandon and Sarrin have birthdays
Enjoy wives classes, auditing husband's class when possible, giving devos
Volunteer at children's school every other week for two days
Take several trips to preach
Change eating habits for better
Visit Evansville Jan. 22-25 (full circle)

That's all I have for now that I care to add today. I will no doubt add more next time, not necessarily in word count but in depth I mean. Take care world and goodnight!!

UH, yeah, so.....

So.... Basically I have no idea what I'm doing here, as is the case in most situations, but hey might as well try (as is also the case in most situations)!

I wanted to start a blog because I never wanted to start a blog, it has always been given a bad name among those that discuss writings and I was always like" why go online to complain?" Of course I was more cynical and word snobbish then and quite frankly now that I see more reason in life (thanks God!!), I feel that why not just do it! Also for the complete entertainment of others I figured posting the happenings of my odd children would at least make one person laugh besides us. Really, as you will learn, they are quite weird (just a wee bit) and sometimes they utter words than no man can calculate.

I plan on trying to update this thing often, as in when I'm not chasing jelly hands/kissing boo boos/checking 2nd grade math homework/figuring a way to ditch the 10 loads of laundry beckoning me/playing tug 'o war with my fibro/organizing everything under the sun/ answering my 5 year old's every random math question. You get the idea- I'm a mom and wife and boy am I busy! But I love it and as the days go by and I "blog" you'll see why I love it.

Please be aware of my need to update/refresh my "gramming" (that's grammar and spelling). I type how I speak and if you know me then you see why my typing reflects an odd sense of ramble....

:) EMily
